Become a Member:

Are you aged 13-30, have impairment and live in the borough of Bury? Are you looking to make new friends, have fun and enjoy an active social life or maybe develop your sporting potential and maintain a healthy lifestyle? Then Jigsaw could be for you; we offer a wide range of social activities including ten pin bowling, meals out, arts and crafts, trips to the cinema and theatre, plus day trips further afield. We also provide various sport sessions including; football, basketball, aerobics, boccia, kurling, swimming, horse riding and many more!

To join Jigsaw people must:

  •  have an impairment;
  •  be aged 13–30; and live within the borough of Bury, Lancashire.

However, people who don’t fit into the above category could join Jigsaw as Associate Members.

To become an associate Jigsaw member people must:

  •  have an impairment;
  •  be aged 13 or over (including over 30s)

Associate members can take part in some sports activities, quarterly discos and various other activities and programmes, dependant on availability.

To join:

  1. Phone or email the Jigsaw office on 0161 253 6853 or jigsaw@bury.gov.uk
  2. Arrange a suitable time to come and meet the friendly Jigsaw staff to discuss becoming a member of Jigsaw
  3. We will send you an application pack to complete
  4. Attend an informal meeting with the friendly Jigsaw office staff where individual requirements can be taken into account.
  5. In a small number of cases applications may be declined, however in most cases applicants are invited to join Jigsaw.
