The Big Event Masquerade Ball took place on Saturday 18th April 2015 at The Village Hotel in Bury. The event included a 3 course meal, live entertainment and performances from Andrea Begley and Street Shakers and a Live Fundraising Auction and Raffle.

The event was a great success raising £2,002.08 for Jigsaw and Jigsaw Link!

Jigsaw has received £5,000 from the Community Plus Donations Programme through Santander, after volunteer Margaret Parkes nominated Jigsaw at the Santander branch in Ramsbottom.

Zoe Oldham, manager of Jigsaw, said: “It will significantly support the invaluable service Jigsaw provides to disabled people in Bury, promoting our aims of fun, freedom and independence.

“It was fantastic to hear one of our wonderful volunteers nominated us to receive this funding after witnessing, at first hand, the positive impact Jigsaw has on people’s lives.”

Jigsaw are recruiting for 3 new Group Leader positions which have become available, one to cover sports sessions, one to cover social sessions and one to cover a variety of both sports and social activities.
