School Games Volunteers: Opening ceremony with Street Shakers

Street Shakers would like to invite you to represent Street Shakers Dance and Sports clubs at this year’s Greater Manchester Level 3 School Games competition on Wednesday 5th of July 2017.

Street Shakers are going to dance in the Opening Ceremony at Sport City at 10am with a special tribute performance for the victims of the Manchester terror attack this May. All volunteers will be provided with a commemorative t-shirt to celebrate how we as a community stand together. You will sing along to Oasis song “Don’t look back in anger” and join in actions led by leaders. Joining us in the opening ceremony will be Parrs Wood Choir and friends of the Manchester Bombing victims and families

Street Shakers will be providing transport from Bury- leaving from running track entrance opposite Bury College at 8am and transporting performers back at approx. 11am. They will be supervised by appropriate adults at all times.

Events like this do not happen by itself but due to the hard work, enthusiasm and initiative of our young volunteers and participants. I am sure you will be very proud of everything your students have achieved that has resulted in them be chosen to take part.
